Each mL contains:
Cisapride monohydrate
equivalent to ................................5mg
from Cisapride.
Vehicle, cbp ............................. 1 mL
Each mL is equivalent to 20 drops and contains 5 mg of Cisapride.
Cis-A-Prid®is a gastrointestinal prokinetic indicated in dogs, cats, horses and rabbits for the prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of digestive tract disorders such as: nausea, vomiting, esophagitis, gastritis, puppies pylorospasm, idiopathic megaesophagus, gastric volvulus, constipation, paralytic ileus and postoperative paralytic ileus.
Domestic canines and felines:1 mL per 5 kg body weight, equivalent to 1 mg cisapride per kg body weight.
Equines:1 mL for 10 to 50 kg of body weight, equivalent to 0.1 to 0.5 mg of cisapride per kg of body weight.
Domestic rabbits:1 to 4 drops per kg of body weight, equivalent to 0.125 mg to 0.5 mg of cisapride per kg of body weight.
Treatment is recommended every 8 to 12 hours, for 1 to 5 days, at the discretion of the Veterinarian.
Oral. Administer 30 minutes before eating food.
